The Concrete Consultancy 2000 Ltd were commissioned on the 29th July 2021 to undertake a survey and testing of the external concrete and steel elements to 193 Stifford Bridge, Thurrock, Essex.
The investigation comprised; a visual survey of the concrete abutments to establish the current condition and note the extent of defects, site testing to establish the thickness of the steel to the trough beams and soffits, sampling of the paint to determine thickness and the presence of toxic metals and pull of testing of the paint surfaces to determine the adhesion strength of the existing coating.
